One of the biggest things for me is punctuality; if you say you’re going to be somewhere at a certain time, you should be. So being late is a big no-no. I also appreciate a man who makes a plan and makes the effort to pick you up!
Any cheesy pickup line is just funny to me and I’m not sure if they ever work. I also honestly can’t say I have ever had a terrible date. I am really picky so I wouldn’t normally go on a date if I wasn’t 100 percent sure about it. And, if it wasn’t the best date I always tried to make the most out of it and have as much fun as possible. I guess I’m lucky that I never had a really bad date experience!
I don’t love pickup lines. I think you need to be more creative and make more of an effort to get a woman’s attention. I would prefer if you just straight up offered to get a drink sometime rather than anything cheesy. The best date I’ve had was probably when we met for a coffee and then decided to go to Dave and Busters. That was really fun and a great ice breaker. A perfect date to me is where you spend the entire time chatting and there’s never that awkward and dull moment where you’re not sure what to say next.
I met a lot of guys just through mutual friends. I actually was on a dating app at one point for a month or two but I never actually met up with anyone I met online.

Be on time, make a plan for the date, pick her up. Also have good manners, opening doors can go a long way.
Depends on my mood really. Sometimes I find my man sexiest in just sweats and a t shirt, but he also looks good in a suit. I guess day-to-day just laid back, easy going and not too fussy. How clothes fit is also super important – nothing too tight or too baggy.
Well, I think that men don’t have a lot of exciting things to work with to switch up their outfits. As women, we’re lucky to have a lot more options, but I think for a man, a watch and shoes definitely would be the go-to accessories to spiff up an outfit. I never normally notice a belt but I definitely would notice nice shoes and a watch.
I am big on experiences rather than gifts, and that is whether you have just started a relationship or you have been together for a long time. Book a hotel room and shower it with rose petals all over the ground and have a massage and champagne. I’m also all for sappy cards, but since that may be overwhelming in the beginning, maybe save that for later on in the relationship.
I’ve found that once you’ve been together a while, creating special moments gets more difficult, so these experiences mean even more. I love it when my fiancé leaves little love notes for me on post-its; a small gesture, but it makes my day every time!
Honestly, within the first two weeks. We had actually met a few years before, but when we reconnected we instantly clicked. He was a perfect gentleman to me and went above and beyond to sweep me off my feet. He was super chill about meeting my family, adventurous and stable all at the same time. He was everything I was looking for in a partner for life!
